Job details:
We're looking for a software engineer who has shipped real products using agentic coding tools, specifically Codex and Claude Code. You'll work directly with the founder to build and iterate on core platform features at speed, leveraging AI-augmented development workflows from day one. This role is ideal for someone with up to 2 years of experience who is already building with these tools and wants to do it full-time at a company where AI-first engineering is the default.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship product features end-to-end: from database schema and API design through to polished front-end interfaces.
- Use Claude Code and Codex as primary development tools, writing prompts and orchestrating agentic workflows to accelerate feature delivery.
- Own the full lifecycle of features for the document review platform, including ingestion pipelines, AI classification, and production exports.
- Write clean, well-tested code in TypeScript/Python; review pull requests; and maintain high code quality standards.
- Collaborate with the founder and legal ops team to translate client feedback into technical solutions and shipping updates on a rapid cadence.
Requirements
- Up to 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience building with Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex, not just prompting, but shipping real products with agentic coding tools.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or Python; familiarity with modern web frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar).
- Strong product instincts: you care about what you're building, not just how it's built.
- Self-directed and comfortable working in a fast-moving, early-stage environment with minimal hand-holding.
- Experience with document processing, NLP pipelines, or legal tech.
- Familiarity with vector databases, RAG architectures, or LLM integration patterns.
- Prior experience at a YC-backed company or early-stage startup.
