Senior Backend Engineer
7–10+ Years | Full-Time
Tech Stack: Backend (Java / Node.js / PHP preferred), AWS, PostgreSQL / Oracle
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale robust backend systems for a B2B platform with multiple system integrations.This role requires strong system design capabilities, hands-on integration experience, and the ability to work across complex backend architectures and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend systems and services
- Architect and implement integrations with internal and external systems (ERP, APIs, third-party services)
- Contribute to backend architecture, system design, and technical decision-making
- Work with PostgreSQL / Oracle for high-performance data systems
- Leverage AWS services for backend development and deployment
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance optimization
- Document backend architecture, workflows, and infrastructure clearly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps)
Required Skills
- 7–10+ years of backend development experience
- Strong system design and backend architecture experience
- Proficiency in at least one: Java / Node.js / PHP (language-agnostic mindset preferred)
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle
- Hands-on experience with system integrations (APIs, enterprise systems, third-party services)
- Practical experience with AWS services
- Strong understanding of scalable systems, performance optimization, and backend best practices
- Ability to clearly document systems and technical architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale or enterprise platforms, familiarity with eCommerce/B2B systems, and a background in integration-heavy environments.
