Job Description:
Pilot Mobility is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to take a lead role in our application architecture and deployment strategy, including managing our VPS hosting environments.
Key Responsibilities:
● Advanced Backend: Lead development of scalable systems using Node.js and Express.js.
● Architecture: Design complex algorithms optimized for high-speed and scalability.
● DevOps & Hosting: Manage deployment of backend/frontend apps on VPS (e.g., Hostinger).
● Infrastructure: Configure web servers (Nginx/Apache), SSL, and environment variables.
● Database Mastery: Architect and optimize MySQL schemas and performance tuning.
● API Governance: Oversee API documentation and automated testing using Postman.
● Leadership: Manage Git workflows and mentor junior developers.
Required Skills:
● Experience: 3–4 years of professional backend experience.
● Expertise: Expert-level JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.js.
● VPS Management: Proven experience hosting on Hostinger or similar (Linux terminal).
● Database: Advanced MySQL skills (indexing, security, and tuning).
● Full-stack: Familiarity with ReactJS for deployment coordination.
