Senior Backend Developer
Experience: 4+ Years
Location: Bengaluru
Work mode: 5 days office
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints with strong emphasis on performance, security, and scalability.
- Architect and maintain microservices using containerization with Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis with advanced indexing, caching strategies, and query tuning.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI to ensure rapid, reliable deployments.
- Ensure system reliability through monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), logging (e.g., ELK Stack), and alerting mechanisms.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive engineering best practices including TDD, SOLID principles, and clean code.
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features with a focus on low-latency and high-availability systems.
Required Qualification:
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on distributed systems.
- Proficiency in backend languages Python*, Go, or Java.
- Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architectures, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS (especially EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloud Functions), Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Strong grasp of authentication/authorization patterns (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with serverless architectures and edge computing.
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkered.
- Knowledge of data modelling, event sourcing, and CQRS patterns.
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical blog writing.
