Senior Backend & AI Engineer (Python, FastAPI & React)
Location: Gurugram (On-Site, Full-Time)
Experience: 3+ Years Preferred
Compensation: ₹5–10 LPA (Depending on Skills & Experience)
Role Overview
We are looking for a strong Backend & AI Engineer to help build and scale real-time AI-driven systems focused on production reliability, performance, and scalability.
This role is primarily focused on:
- Python backend engineering
- FastAPI development
- AI system integration
- React-based frontend integration
This is not a JavaScript-heavy frontend role.
Candidates with strong Python backend experience and practical React integration skills are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend systems using Python & FastAPI
- Build frontend integrations and dashboards using React
- Develop and maintain AI-powered services including:
- LLM integrations
- Embedding pipelines
- Inference APIs
- Vector search systems
- Develop low-latency real-time APIs and async processing systems
- Work across the full engineering lifecycle:
- Architecture
- Development
- Deployment
- Monitoring
- Scaling
- Optimize systems for:
- Performance
- Latency
- Reliability
- Cost efficiency
- Build stable and scalable production infrastructure
- Debug production issues and ensure system reliability under load
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Python backend development
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI (Mandatory)
- Working knowledge of React
- Good understanding of:
- Async programming
- Distributed systems
- Event-driven architectures
- Experience working with:
- AI/ML systems in production
- LLM integrations
- Vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, etc.)
- Inference APIs
- Strong database knowledge:
- PostgreSQL
- NoSQL databases
- Experience with:
- Redis
- Kafka / queues / messaging systems
- Cloud & Infrastructure familiarity:
- AWS / GCP / Azure
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- CI/CD and deployment workflows
Good to Have
- TypeScript familiarity
- WebSockets / real-time communication systems
- Streaming / speech / video systems
- GPU optimization or model-serving infrastructure

Important Notes
