Role: Senior Backend & AI Engineer (On-Site, FastAPI
Focus)
Location: On-Site (Full-Time)
Experience: 6–12+ years
Role Summary
We are hiring a senior engineer to own backend and AI
systems end-to-end, with a strong focus on FastAPI-based
architectures and production AI systems.
This role is about building real-time systems that work
reliably in production — not prototypes.
Core Responsibilities
• Design and build high-performance backend systems
using FastAPI
• Develop and deploy AI-powered services (LLMs,
embeddings, inference pipelines)
• Build real-time systems (low latency APIs, streaming,
async processing)
• Own full lifecycle:
◦ Architecture → Development → Deployment →
Monitoring → Scaling

• Optimize systems for:
◦ Latency
◦ Throughput
◦ Cost
•
• Build and maintain robust production infrastructure
• Handle failures, debug production issues, and ensure
system stability
Must-Have Skills
• Strong backend development using Python (FastAPI is
mandatory)
• Deep understanding of:
◦ Async programming
◦ Distributed systems
◦ Event-driven architectures

• Hands-on experience with:
◦ AI/ML systems in production (LLMs, vector
search, inference APIs)
◦ Model integration & optimization
•
• Experience building real-time systems (sub-second
response systems)
• Strong database experience:
◦ PostgreSQL / NoSQL
◦ Vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, etc.)

• Messaging & caching:
◦ Kafka / Redis / queues
•
• Cloud & infra:
◦ AWS / GCP / Azure
◦ Docker, Kubernetes
•
• CI/CD and deployment pipelines
Good to Have (Plus, Not Mandatory)
• Node.js or other backend frameworks
• Experience with:
◦ WebSockets / real-time communication
◦ Speech / video / streaming systems
◦ GPU optimization / model serving infra
• Frontend awareness (not required, but helpful)
