Role Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Network & Security Engineer with strong expertise in cloud networking, edge security, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, troubleshooting, and optimizing secure and scalable Azure network architectures while supporting operational excellence and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Azure Networking & Architecture - Design and manage Azure Virtual Network (VNet) architectures, including advanced routing and BGP configurations.
- Implement and troubleshoot Private Link and Private Endpoint connectivity patterns.
- Configure and manage:
- Azure Firewall
- Azure Application Gateway (WAF)
- Azure Load Balancer
- Virtual WAN topologies
- Manage DNS, DHCP, IP addressing schemes, CIDR planning, and packet-level traffic analysis.
- Diagnose and resolve complex connectivity, traffic flow, and edge security incidents.
Network Security & Monitoring - Hands-on experience with monitoring and security tools such as:
- SolarWinds
- Netskope
- Check Point / NetScaler VPN solutions
- Utilize Dynatrace for performance monitoring, application visibility, and root cause analysis.
- Investigate and mitigate security events, firewall rule issues, and network anomalies.
Operations & Governance
- Support cloud change management processes, incident response, and RCA best practices.
- Ensure network configurations align with security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and operational stability.
