- Position : Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
- Experience : 12 – 15 Years
- Timings : 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
- Job Type : Contractor
- Work Mode : Remote
- Duration : Long Term (1 Year – Extendable)
- Start Date : Immediate / Short Notice Preferred
- Primary Skills : Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Cloud Automation
Brief About the Role:
❖ We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
❖ The role involves working closely with development, QA, and cloud teams to enable efficient software delivery and cloud-native transformations.
❖ The candidate will play a key role in automation, DevOps strategy, cloud optimization, and release management across enterprise applications.
Key Skills & Technical Expertise:
Cloud & DevOps
- Strong experience in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Services
- Experience in DevOps implementation & maturity models
CI/CD & Automation
- Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines, YAML)
- Experience with build & release automation
- Hands-on experience in Git-based version control (GitHub / Azure Repos)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Expertise in:
- Terraform
- ARM Templates / Bicep
- Experience provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure
Containers & Orchestration
- Experience with:
- Docker
- Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
- Containerization of applications and orchestration
Monitoring & Security
- Experience with:
- Azure Monitor
- Log Analytics
- Application Insights
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
- Implementing security, compliance, and governance
Scripting & Tools
- Strong scripting skills in:
- PowerShell
- Bash
- Python (nice to have)
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks
Release & Environment Management
- Experience in managing:
- Multi-environment deployments
- Release strategies (Blue-Green, Canary)
- Handling production deployments and rollbacks
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools
- Manage and optimize Azure cloud environments
- Collaborate with development teams to improve build, deployment, and release processes
- Implement DevSecOps best practices
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards
- Maintain documentation and DevOps best practices
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Soft Skills & Professional Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently in a remote/distributed environment
- Proactive mindset with ownership and accountability
- Strong mentoring capability for junior engineers
Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305)
- Kubernetes Certification (CKA/CKAD – Nice to Have)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
- Exposure to GitOps (ArgoCD / Flux)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of FinOps / Cost Optimization in Azure
- Experience in large-scale enterprise environments

Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Can join immediately or within short notice
- Have strong hands-on experience (not just managerial)
