Role: Senior Azure Data Engineer

Salary Range : 10 LPA - 14 LPA
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable data platforms using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Power BI, and will lead end-to-end data architecture, governance, and analytics solutions to support business intelligence and AI initiatives. Hands-on experience in Unity Catalog and with 2-3 year GCP exp. is must.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in architecting data solutions on Microsoft Azure (minimum 4+ years)
Expertise in:
Unity Catalog à Please check for strong expertise in this area
GCP is must with 2-3yrs exp.
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Azure Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake)
Azure Data Lake Storage Gen1/Gen2
Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization)
Strong understanding of data integration, data warehousing, and modern data platform patterns (e.g., medallion architecture)
Proficiency in SQL, Python or PySpark for data processing and transformations
Experience with CI/CD, version control (e.g., Git), and DevOps for data
Knowledge of data governance, security (RBAC, ABAC), and compliance on cloud platforms
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft certifications such as:
Azure Sr. Data Engineer
Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Experience with tools like Azure Synapse, Purview, Logic Apps, or Power Automate
Familiarity with real-time data processing and event-driven architectures (e.g., Event Hubs, Stream Analytics)
