About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Azure Data Architect with 10+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture and large-scale data platforms. You will lead the design and delivery of production-grade data infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end architecture of distributed data platforms on Azure
- Design and implement scalable Spark and DuckDB workloads in production
- Build resilient, cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes and AKS
- Drive performance optimization across large-scale data pipelines
- Collaborate with engineering teams across time zones
- Mentor engineers and set architecture standards
What you bring
- 10+ years in cloud architecture and data engineering
- Deep expertise in Apache Spark, DuckDB, and Big Data technologies
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure (ADF, ADLS, Synapse, AKS)
- Strong Kubernetes and container orchestration skills
- Proficiency in Python and/or Scala
- Experience with streaming systems (Kafka, Azure Event Hubs)
- Excellent English communication skills
