Description:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test automation strategies
- Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites using Cypress to validate web applications.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing.
- Identify and report defects, track issues, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
- Write clear and concise test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.
- Perform manual testing where necessary to support the automation process.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies to contribute testing insights and identify testing needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of Industry experience in test automation using Cypress or JavaScript.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with modern web development technologies (HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular, etc.).
- Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or similar.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques.
- Experience with version control systems
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or similar is a plus.
- Experience with performance testing and load testing tools is a plus.
