Role Description

·      Act as the Project Automation Leader; manage and control design schedules, deliverables, and quality.

·      Design control system architecture based on project specifications, process requirements, and industry standards.

·      Analyze project requirements based on URS (User Requirement Specification) and deliver customized, compliant automation designs.

·      Collaborate with customers to understand process workflows and ensure automation design aligns with functional and operational needs.

·      Apply ISA S88 standards in batch process automation, including the design and implementation of Control Modules, Equipment Modules, and Phases to ensure structured, reusable, and scalable automation solutions.

·      Prepare and maintain comprehensive automation documentation, including Functional Specification (FS), Software Design Specification (SDS) and Equipment Module & Control Module Design Sheets ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

·      Should be familiar with PCS7, Simatic Batch, and Route Control Components. Must have experience in complete PCS7 project development.

·      Work with cross-functional teams to execute and support project validation phases including FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), IQ (Installation Qualification), and OQ (Operational Qualification).

·      Assign and manage design tasks efficiently within the team, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output through effective communication and collaboration.

·      Stay updated on latest control system technologies and industry trends to support technical innovation and pre-sales activities.

·      Support business development and MNC market expansion, including participation in technical discussions, proposal development, and customer presentations.

 

Essential Skills/Experience

 

·      Bachelor's degree or above.

·      At least 10+ years of automation design experience, ability to work independently.

·      Familiar with Siemens PCS7 / TIA / WinCC / Step7 industrial control software programing and commissioning.

·      Pharmaceutical / FMCG / chemical engineering background is preferred.

·      Good communication and coordination skills.

·      Positive, responsible, and teamwork.

·      Good English skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
