🚨 We’re Hiring – Senior Automation Engineer (Java & Selenium) | Contract Opportunity 🚨
📍 Location: Remote
🕒 Duration: 6+ Months Contract
👨💻 Experience Required: 8+ Years
Thoughtic Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our growing technology team for an exciting contract opportunity with one of our esteemed clients.
If you are passionate about automation testing, framework development, and quality engineering, this role offers an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-grade applications and modern testing ecosystems.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium & Java
✔ Implement and optimize Page Object Model (POM) frameworks
✔ Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs
✔ Perform backend testing and validate data integrity using SQL queries
✔ Create Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Schedules
✔ Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners
✔ Integrate automation frameworks with JIRA for defect tracking and test management
✔ Mentor and train manual testers to transition into automation testing
🔹 Required Skills & Experience:
✅ 8+ years of experience in Automation Testing
✅ Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Java
✅ Hands-on experience with POM Framework
✅ Experience with TestNG or JUnit frameworks
✅ API Automation testing using RestAssured / Karate / Postman
✅ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git
✅ Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
🔹 Preferred Skills:
➕ Experience with Selenium Grid or cloud-based test execution platforms
➕ Familiarity with JMeter or performance testing tools
➕ US Healthcare domain experience
