Location / Assignment - Deputation to Brazil
We're looking for experienced Instrumentation Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in **Emerson DeltaV DCS** for a large-scale Oil & Gas automation project on international deputation to Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Configure, engineer & troubleshoot Emerson DeltaV DCS across FEED, detailed engineering, FAT/SAT & commissioning
✅ Prepare control narratives, I/O lists, cause & effect diagrams, DCS architecture documents
✅ Coordinate with process, electrical & instrumentation teams for system integration
✅ Support FAT/SAT and carry out loop checking, commissioning & start-up support on-site in Brazil
✅ Liaise with client, vendors & stakeholders on technical DCS matters
Requirements:
🔹 Bachelor's in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
🔹 10–20 years in Instrumentation & Control within Oil & Gas / Process industries
🔹 Mandatory: strong hands-on Emerson DeltaV DCS experience (configuration, engineering, troubleshooting)
🔹 Prior FEED, detailed engineering, FAT & commissioning experience on DCS systems
🔹 International project exposure or willingness to relocate to Brazil
🔹 Good grasp of process control philosophy, P&IDs & instrumentation datasheets
Good to have:
✨ Prior deputation/overseas experience (Middle East, Europe, Latin America)
✨ Valid passport & willingness to travel/relocate for assignment duration
✨ Working knowledge of Portuguese/Spanish (added advantage)
