About the Role
We are immediately hiring a high-speed, expert AutoCAD Draughtsmen for our modular cabinetry and architectural joinery manufacturing facility in Delhi.
This role is strictly for candidates who possess rapid drafting capabilities, deep knowledge of modular cabinet joinery, and an understanding of hardware deduction standards (Häfele, Hettich). You will convert architectural concepts into precise, millimeter-accurate 2D production shop drawings and cutlists ready for the factory floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate detailed 2D architectural shop drawings, 4-wall kitchen elevations, and wardrobe internal carcass sections directly from site measurements and concept plans.
- Apply exact manufacturing tolerances, panel thickness allowances (18 mm, 25 mm HDHMR/WPC), and edge-banding deductions (0.8 mm, 2 mm).
- Detail precise hardware boring, setback, and clearance coordinates for drawer systems (Hettich InnoTech, Häfele Matrix), concealed 3D hinges, and top-hung sliding mechanisms (TopLine 22).
- Coordinate directly with the factory production manager to verify cutlists and ensure zero rework during CNC nesting and assembly.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of dedicated drafting experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, and architectural vanity manufacturing.
- Mastery of AutoCAD (2D): Exceptional drafting speed using dynamic blocks, custom templates, and keyboard shortcuts.
- Hardware & Material Fluency: Solid working knowledge of Green HDHMR, WPC, acrylic/PU shutters, and German hardware clearances.
- Location Constraint: Must be currently residing in Delhi / Delhi NCR. (Outstation applicants or candidates requiring relocation will not be considered).
- Commute: Personal vehicle/conveyance is not required. The facility is accessible via public transit/metro routes.
- Availability: Immediate joiners only (able to start within 3–7 days).
Assessment & Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a mandatory 60-minute in-person practical drafting test at our factory to evaluate drafting speed, layer management, and hardware allowance accuracy.
