Role Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable and target-driven Senior Australia Education Counsellor to guide students aspiring to study in Australia. The role involves expert counselling, admissions support, visa guidance, lead conversion, and maintaining strong relationships with Australian universities and education partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students on Australian education opportunities including universities, colleges, courses, scholarships, admission requirements, and visa processes.
- Provide accurate guidance on study pathways, GTE/GS requirements, student visa documentation, and post-study opportunities in Australia.
- Handle walk-ins, referrals, online inquiries, and student leads with a strong focus on conversions and enrollments.
- Manage the complete student application journey — counselling, university applications, offer letters, financial documentation, visa filing, and pre-departure support.
- Coordinate with Australian universities, partner institutions, and internal processing teams for smooth application management.
- Ensure application quality, compliance standards, and documentation accuracy as per university and visa requirements.
- Mentor junior counsellors and support the team in achieving admission and revenue targets.
- Maintain and update lead status, application progress, and student records in the CRM system.
- Participate in seminars, webinars, education fairs, and marketing activities related to Australian education.
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Strong knowledge of the Australian education system, student visa process, and university admission requirements.
- Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to convert leads into successful student enrollments.
- Strong understanding of GTE/GS assessment, financial documentation, and compliance procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines efficiently.
- Leadership and team-handling capabilities are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required with prior experience in Australian education counselling.
