Role Profile – Senior Manager – Accounts, Audit & Inventory
Base Location: Mumbai
Travel Requirement: Frequent travel to Navsari, Gujarat (factory location)
CTC Range: ₹10–15 LPA
Reporting To: VP – Accounts / Senior Management
Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering / Process Industry
ROLE OBJECTIVE
To support and strengthen audit readiness, inventory control, and factory-level financial
discipline through regular on-site involvement at the Navsari plant. This is a hands-on
operational finance role with a clear growth path.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Audit & Compliance Support
- Lead the accounts team in Mumbai and Gujarat
- Assist in statutory audits (GST, Income Tax, internal, ISO, customer audits)
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and documentation
- Coordinate with auditors during factory audits and close observations
Inventory & Stock Verification
- Support physical verification of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, scrap
- Reconcile physical stock with books / ERP
- Identify discrepancies and slow-moving inventory
Factory Finance Support
- Support job-wise costing and WIP valuation
- Assist in tracking conversion costs
- Support accounting for rework, rejects, and scrap
Operational Presence
- Travel to Navsari factory (5–6 days per month minimum)
- Coordinate between Mumbai accounts team and factory teams
DESIRED
- 8–12 years' experience in manufacturing accounts
- Exposure to GST, audits, and stock verification
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
- Comfortable with factory environment and travel
ROLE PROGRESSION
Expected to grow into a broader Finance Operations / Audit & Inventory Manager role
over 18–24 months.
