Job Summary
The role is responsible for supporting end‑to‑end Commercial Loan Servicing and Special Servicing activities, with a strong focus on money movement, payment operations, cash management, and servicing compliance. The position involves handling disbursements, payment posting, payoffs, investor reporting, loan modifications, audit requests, and management of reserves, escrows, and taxes, while ensuring all servicing actions align with key loan agreements and servicing terms. The role requires hands‑on use of Strategy and Recall applications, close coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to work independently with high accuracy, ownership, and adherence to deadlines in a fast‑paced servicing environment.
Responsibilities
Money Movement & Payment Operations
- Handle Disbursements, Payment Posting, and Payment Status Queries
- Manage Cash Management activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Handle Payoff calculations and support payoff processing
- Support Investor Reporting and related reconciliation activities
Loan Servicing & Special Servicing
- Manage Loan Modifications and related documentation
- Handle Miscellaneous Special Service Transfer queries
- Process Audit Confirmations and Audit Requests
- Review and interpret Key Agreements, ensuring servicing actions align with terms
- Manage and understand Reserves, Escrows & Taxes, including monitoring and exception handling
Systems & Applications
- Work with Strategy and Recall applications for workflow and transaction processing
- Navigate servicing platforms to track, process, and resolve loan-related activities
Communication & Collaboration
- Provide clear and professional verbal and written communication to internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for resolution of servicing issues
- Respond to client or internal status queries with accuracy and timeliness
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Require 4+ Years of experience in Commercial Loan Servicing (core servicing & special servicing)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Hands-on experience with Strategy and Recall applications
- Strong understanding of:
- Money Movement Processes
- Payment Posting & Cash Management
- Payoffs & Investor Reporting
- Loan Modifications
- Audit Processes
- Reserves, Escrows, and Taxes
- Key loan agreements and servicing terms
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in U.S. Commercial Real Estate / Commercial Loan Servicing
- Understanding of end‑to‑end servicing lifecycle
- Ability to analyze servicing data and identify discrepancies
