About PCM Operations
DBIL has acquired PCM license from NSE and is currently performing clearing operations for exchange traded derivatives in F&O and Currency derivatives segment. Our client list includes institutions (FPIs, Mutual Funds, AIFs). Institutions who trade in exchange traded derivatives place their monies as derivatives margin with Clearing Member (DBIL). These institutions execute their derivative trades through multiple brokers. It is the responsibility of DBIL to ensure that the overall risk management of the clients’ derivative position is correctly managed and to ensure that daily settlement of the clients’ derivative positions happens smoothly with the exchange.
Key Responsibilities And Requirements
- Candidate should have thorough understanding of risk management of Clearing Business
- Understanding Span methodology and margin computation for derivative positions
- Should be able to understand and monitor position limits as prescribed by the regulators
- Should be able to understand extant regulations and should be to perform daily regulatory reporting
- Understanding of the life cycle of derivative trade and should be able to do daily activities of clearing desk which include processing and confirmation of trades
- Daily settlement of monies and equities for Equity Derivatives and currency derivatives segment
- Designing and sending daily reports to clients
- Should understand the accounting setup within the back office system
Required Education:
- Minimum Graduate
- PG (advantage)
Required Experience:
- Should have experience of minimum 10 years within the Derivatives Clearing business
- Should have good communication skills so as to mange internal as well as external stakeholders
- Should have domain expertise of derivatives margin computation and position limit monitoring
- Should have basic accounting knowledge
- Has grasp on the regulatory framework for exchange traded derivatives and should be able to liaise with regulators
- Should have experience in confirmation and settlement of trades and should be able to understand the entire trade cycle
- Should be a team player
