Job Purpose: Lead and manage DBS India's Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring continuous monitoring, detection, and response to physical security threats through effective management of Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems. This role is crucial for safeguarding DBS's physical environment, assets, and personnel, aligning with global security policies and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Establish and lead the SOC in India, aligning with global physical security standards and contributing to the overall physical security strategy for DBS India. Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and upgrades of electronic security systems.
- SOC Operations & Incident Response: Direct 24/7 monitoring and analysis of alerts from Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems. Manage and coordinate responses to physical security incidents, including breaches and unauthorized access, ensuring timely escalation and evidence collection. Optimize system configurations and collaborate with IT for secure integration of systems. Manage system inventory.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify, assess, and mitigate physical security risks. Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and global physical security policies. Participate in audits and develop SOPs for SOC operations and incident response. Provide expertise in security system design.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the SOC team, fostering vigilance and technical proficiency. Provide training on system operation and incident response. Facilitate collaboration with internal departments and external partners.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in Physical Security domain
- 5+ years in physical security operations management, preferably in financial services, with a focus on electronic security systems.
- Expertise in Video Surveillance (CCTV/VMS), Access Control Systems (ACS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
- Strong understanding of physical security principles, incident response, and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with relevant physical security standards and regulations.
- Experience with system integration and network fundamentals related to security infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) desirable.
