Your area of work:
As an Automation Test Engineer, you will accelerate functional and automation testing and improve the quality of the 360T platform. You will contribute to delivering high-quality software releases and support the organization’s goal of maintaining a robust and scalable trading platform within Deutsche Börse Group.
Your responsibilities:
- You are jointly responsible for ensuring the overall quality of the platform across releases.
- You design and execute test plans, scenarios, and test cases for automated testing.
- You take responsibility for maintaining test documentation and ensuring adequate test coverage across functional and non-functional requirements.
- You develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and regression test suites to improve efficiency and reliability.
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, track, and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- You monitor and report QA metrics to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
- You contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and methodologies while aligning with evolving project needs.
Your profile:
- Must-have: Over 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing with exposure to both manual and automation testing.
- Must-have: Experience in test automation using Java and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
- Must-have: Good understanding of REST and FIX APIs and experience testing applications in Unix/Linux environments.
- Must-have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
- Must-have: Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL and ability to write SQL queries.
- Must-have: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) and version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
- Must-have: Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Nice-to-have: Experience or familiarity with trading, banking, or financial domain applications.
- Nice-to-have: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
