Role purpose
This Senior Associate role sits in PwC’s offshore Connected Team and provides structured support to on‑shore, Industry‑aligned Senior Managers within the Clients & Markets (C&M) team.
You will take ownership of key activities that underpin industry go‑to‑market (GTM) execution, industry growth, and community activation/support. You will play a key role in enabling the activation of industry strategies and support of the firm's growth agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Industry reporting, analysis and insights (supporting GTM and growth)
- Prepare regular dashboards and reports on:
- Industry, sub-sector, and alliance performance
- Opportunity pipeline hygiene, stages and conversion
- Industry-led campaign effectiveness and insights
- Generate iPower reports to monitor spending related to Industry cost and time codes.
- Utilise proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce to create monthly reports, and presentation decks (e.g., strategy sessions, Townhalls)
- Sub-sector enablement
- Support with enablement of our sub-sectors, including infrastructure and reporting.
- Sales discipline, Salesforce and pipeline support
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date Salesforce records for:
- Industry tags, opportunities, sub-sectors, campaigns and fields defined by on‑shore teams
- Support the embedding of sales discipline by:
- Running routine data quality checks (duplicates, missing fields, past-due opportunities, relationship contacts)
- Preparing regular pipeline and activity reports and highlighting exceptions
- Assist in standardising Salesforce processes and documentation for Industry and Sub-Sector teams.
- GTM activation and campaign support
- Support execution of GTM and market activation plans developed by Industry Senior Managers, including:
- Supporting the activation of key priorities and propositions
- Creating and maintaining campaign lists and target segments in relevant systems
- Tracking campaign responses, attendance and outcomes
- Report on campaign effectiveness and ROI
- Work with Industry Marketing to consolidate feedback and attendance data.
- Prepare post‑event summaries and metrics.
- Support ROI measurement and recommendations.
- Client Industry support
- Support specific client segments:
- Provide regular summaries of key news updates relevant to the Industry, including monthly updates tailored for P100 and other target clients, leveraging AI tools and markets research teams where applicable.
- Industry and sub-sector use cases requests (global use cases)
- Industry and sub-sector analysis requests and insights, planning support
- Collating materials for Industry reviews and planning sessions (e.g. client spend, pipeline, recent interactions).
- Maintaining industry, sub-sector strategy documents
- Pursuit and proposal support
- Provide repeatable, industry‑driven support to pursuits and transitions, such as:
- Maintain and update libraries of industry‑relevant content (e.g. credentials, bios, case studies, boilerplate text)
- Support Channel Preference process and information gathering to help Industry Leaders make informed decisions
- Industry community and communication support
- Assist Industry Senior Managers to activate the Industry community by:
- Managing distribution lists and community membership records
- Coordinating recurring community calls, forums or newsletters
- Preparing standard communications, slides and summaries
- Maintain central knowledge repositories and shared drives for industry materials, ensuring they are well‑structured and up‑to‑date.
- Maintain and update the Industry SharePoint sites with timely content; offer recommendations to improve site usability and strengthen the brand.
What We’re Looking For
Experience and background
- Experience in a professional services, shared services, BPO or similarly complex environment.
- Prior experience in sales operations, business development support, marketing operations, PMO, or analytics/reporting roles is highly regarded.
- Familiarity with the relevant industry is beneficial but not essential.
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, ideally Salesforce (e.g., managing opportunities, running reports, maintaining data quality).
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentation preparation.
- Comfortable working with large data sets, performing basic analysis, and presenting findings in a clear, visual way.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools ( MS Teams, SharePoint) is a plus.
Professional Skills And Attributes
- Highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple recurrent tasks and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in data entry, reporting and document preparation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; able to follow instructions, clarify requirements and produce clear, concise outputs.
- Action‑oriented, proactive and reliable; able to take ownership of routine work with limited supervision and escalate issues when needed.
- A collaborative team player who can build effective working relationships with on‑shore Senior Managers and peers in the Connect Team.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, including documenting processes and suggesting ways to streamline recurring work.
