Job Overview
We are seeking experienced professionals with 3–5 years of relevant experience to join our Global Chemical Regulations team as Senior Associate. The role involves contributing to the execution and support of EU REACH and other global chemical regulatory projects, including EU REACH co‑registration (as Only Representative), dossier updates and maintenance, SDS/eSDS authoring, CSR updates, and EU PCN/UFI submissions.
The position also includes client communications, collaboration with global REACHLaw offices, support to junior team members, and progressive development of expertise to contribute to regulatory advisory services, training assignments, and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Technical Support
- Perform end‑to‑end EU REACH co‑registration as Only Representative (OR), including dossier maintenance and regulatory updates.
- Prepare, review, and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and extended SDS (eSDS) using Chemical safety report (CSR) in compliance with EU REACH, EU CLP and GHS.
- Perform EU Poison Centre Notifications (PCN) and UFI generation and submissions for mixtures.
- Support projects relating to CSR update, REACH‑like regulations, including UK REACH, Turkey KKDIK, South Korea K‑REACH, and Ukrainian chemical regulations.
- Conduct regulatory research to stay updated on global chemical regulations, summary of regulatory changes and contribute to regulatory intelligence reports.
Client Communication & collaboration
- Handle client communications and participate in client meetings.
- Liaise with clients, and authorities to obtain required information and resolve regulatory queries.
· Collaborate with internal team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to clients.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation of project activities and communications.
Training & Knowledge Development
- Support internal training and mentoring of junior team members.
- Contribute to the preparation and delivery of client training materials and presentations.
- Gradually build subject‑matter expertise to support regulatory advisory services.
Business Development & Team Support
- Support business development activities through technical inputs, background research, and proposal assistance.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and client engagements, as required.
Travel
- Travel domestically and internationally for client meetings, trainings, and events, as per business requirement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, or Pharmacy (M.Pharm).
- 3–5 years of experience in chemical regulatory compliance, product stewardship, or hazard communication.
- Practical experience in EU REACH, SDS/eSDS preparation, EU CLP, and PCN/UFI is required.
- Exposure to global clients or multinational project teams is an advantage.
- Experience with SDS authoring tools (e.g., Lisam, SAP EH&S) is a plus.
