About the Role
The Fundraising & Partnerships role is critical to Peepul’s growth and sustainability. You will work closely with the Fundraising Manager to build, manage, and convert a strong donor pipeline, while nurturing long-term partnerships with corporates, foundations, and high-net-worth individ
uals.Peepul is currently working towards an annual fundraising target of ~INR 70 Cr, and this role carries real ownership in helping achieve and grow that goal. This is a front-end role—combining strategy, relationship management, and execution—for someone who enjoys building trust, influencing senior stakeholders, and closing high-value partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Pipeline Growth
- Partner with the Fundraising Manager to shape and execute fundraising strategies aligned with Peepul’s programme priorities.
- Identify, research, and onboard new funding prospects across CSR, foundations, and individual philanthropy.
Donor Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Manage the end-to-end fundraising cycle: lead generation, outreach, meetings, presentations, proposal development, negotiations, and closures.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing donors through regular engagement, updates, and reporting.
Proposals, Reporting & Donor Engagement
- Support drafting of proposals, grant applications, donor reports, and impact updates.
- Plan and execute donor visits, programme immersions, and volunteering initiatives with donor employees.
- Design and manage communication for retail donors and employee-engagement programmes.
Governance & Coordination
- Manage donor due diligence processes and coordinate closely with Finance and internal teams on compliance and reporting requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, or donor management with Indian and/or international donors.
- Existing relationships with CSR and philanthropic organisations are a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with comfort engaging senior leaders.
- Results-oriented, with high ownership and follow-through.
- Diplomatic, persuasive, and able to influence without authority.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Language
- Proficiency in English and Hindi (written and spoken).
