Role Overview
We are looking for a
CMA-qualified professional with 1–2 years of experience to join our Finance team and contribute to
Record-to-Report (RTR) and financial accounting activities.
The role will involve hands-on responsibilities across
General Ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, month-end closing and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, good analytical skills and practical experience in finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- General Ledger Accounting
- Handle day-to-day General Ledger (GL) accounting activities and review account balances.
- Ensure accurate recording of revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities.
- Support fixed asset accounting, depreciation and CAPEX tracking.
- Ensure transactions are recorded accurately and within timelines.
- Journals & Reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions and prepayments.
- Perform GR/IR, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Identify and resolve open items, reconciliation differences and aged balances.
- Maintain proper supporting documentation for accounting entries.
- Month-End Close & Reporting
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual book closure activities.
- Prepare financial schedules and reports for management review.
- Support variance analysis and investigate significant movements.
- Assist with working capital analysis, forecasting and routine management reporting.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned month-end activities.
- Audit & Compliance
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and company policies.
- Assist in resolving audit queries and maintaining proper documentation.
- Process Improvement & Coordination
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline RTR and accounting processes.
- Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives within Finance.
- Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Business and other cross-functional teams for timely resolution of accounting issues.
- Handle finance-related analysis and ad-hoc reporting as required.
Requirements
- Qualification: CMA – Qualified
- Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in RTR, General Ledger, Financial Accounting or Corporate Finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Hands-on experience in journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments and month-end closing.
- Good knowledge of fixed asset accounting and intercompany accounting is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Basic to intermediate exposure to SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
