Role Description
We are looking for a Business Development Senior Associate to support the company’s growth by identifying, building, and managing relationships with referral partners, hospitals, clinics, doctors, facilitators, and other healthcare ecosystem stakeholders.
The role requires strong communication skills, persistence, relationship-building ability, and an understanding of healthcare services. The selected candidate will support lead generation, partner onboarding, follow-ups, proposal sharing, and coordination with internal operations teams to convert enquiries into active patient cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for international patient referrals across target geographies.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, clinics, doctors, healthcare facilitators, hospitals, and community-level healthcare networks.
- Reach out to potential partners through calls, emails, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other professional communication channels.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with leads and referral partners to build trust and move discussions towards active collaboration.
- Maintain and update the business development tracker/CRM with lead status, communication history, follow-up dates, and next steps.
- Coordinate with the operations and patient coordination team for smooth handover of patient enquiries received through business development channels.
- Understand partner requirements, market feedback, patient expectations, and competitor positioning, and share insights with management.
- Support preparation of introductory emails, presentations, partner proposals, and other business development material.
- Assist in planning outreach campaigns for specific countries, regions, hospitals, specialties, or patient segments.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate / Post Graduate in business administration, marketing, healthcare management, hospital administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, medical tourism, hospital partnerships, or referral network development will be preferred.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English; knowledge of French, Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish, or other foreign languages will be an advantage.
- Confident in making calls, writing professional messages, and following up with external stakeholders.
- Ability to build relationships with international partners and healthcare stakeholders.
- Strong follow-up discipline, CRM/tracker management skills, and attention to detail.
- Target-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of leads.
- Basic understanding of hospitals, medical specialties, international patient services, or healthcare coordination will be an advantage.
- Should be willing to Travel outside India if required.
