Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for the role of Senior Associate, located in Mumbai. The Senior Associate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal documents, handling corporate and commercial transactions, advising clients on compliance and regulatory matters, and representing clients in commercial disputes. The role involves managing client relationships, leading transactions, and mentoring junior team members.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Corporate & Commercial laws, including drafting and negotiating agreements and contracts.
- Expertise in Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Banking & Finance transactions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of litigation and dispute resolution processes, including case preparation and representation.
- Proficiency in legal research, regulatory advisory, and providing practical compliance strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on legal drafting and client communication.
- Proven ability to manage complex cases independently while mentoring junior associates and engaging with clients effectively.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- LL.B degree from a recognized institution; LL.M or specialization in relevant fields is a plus.
- Work experience in a reputed law firm or corporate legal environment preferred.
