Job Summary
We are hiring a Senior Finance Associate for our VCFO / Finance Operations team in Mumbai.
This is a review-focused role responsible for ensuring accuracy, completeness, and analysis-readiness of accounting, reconciliation, and compliance deliverables across multiple clients.
The role involves reviewing work prepared by Associates and Trainees, identifying errors, ensuring correctness, and maintaining high-quality financial output before client delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Review ledger scrutiny, trial balance grouping, and account classification
- Review bank reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and supporting workings
- Support GST, TDS, PF, ESI compliance workings and filings
- Ensure client files are complete, accurate, and analysis-ready before handover
- Identify classification errors, unreconciled balances, missing entries, and follow-ups
- Review working papers and ensure documentation discipline
- Guide Associates and Trainees on quality standards and review feedback
- Maintain review trackers, control checks, and escalation discipline
- Support basic tax planning notes and quality checks where required
Candidate Profile
- CA Inter / CMA Inter
- 2–4 years of relevant experience
- Strong accounting fundamentals
- Strong reconciliation and review mindset
- Proficient in Excel and Tally / Zoho
- Good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Strong ownership and attention to detail
