About the role
Emerge Legal is hiring a Senior Associate for its litigation practice in Delhi - NCR. We are looking for an advocate with hands-on experience in strategising litigation matters, drafting plaints and applications, and arguing before judicial authorities across NCR.
What you will do
- Strategise litigation matters from the first brief through to final hearing.
- Draft plaints, applications, replies, and representations.
- Appear and argue before courts, tribunals, and other judicial authorities across NCR.
- Manage case files and deadlines, and keep clients and the partner updated on progress.
- Research case law and prepare arguments and briefing notes.
- Coordinate with clients, counsel, and court staff on matter progress.
What we are looking for
- LLB degree and enrolment with a Bar Council.
- 5+ years of core litigation experience.
- Working knowledge of court procedure and regular court appearance experience.
- Strong drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Ownership of deadlines and accuracy in filings.
