Job Summary
The Senior Associate – Contract Setup plays a critical role in the Order to Cash (O2C) process by ensuring accurate and timely setup of customer contracts in S4 Hana cloud system. This role acts as a key link between Sales, Legal, Finance, and Billing teams to ensure contract terms are correctly interpreted, validated, and implemented, enabling smooth invoicing and revenue recognition.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, interpret, and validate customer contracts, amendments, and pricing schedules for accurate system setup
- Set up and maintain contract, pricing, billing, and revenue-related data in ERP/billing systems
- Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, Revenue Assurance, and Billing teams to resolve contract discrepancies
- Handle complex contracts including multi-element arrangements, renewals, terminations, and change orders
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities related to contract setup and billing
- Support audits by providing contract documentation and system evidence
- Mentor and guide junior associates on contract setup processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration
- 3–6 years of experience in Order to Cash, Contract Setup, Billing Operations, or Revenue Operations
- Strong understanding of contract structures, pricing models, and billing concepts
- Experience working with SAP/ S4 Hana cloud version
