We are seeking an exceptional Senior ASP.NET Core Developer who thrives
in complex environments, understands enterprise architecture deeply, and
builds solutions that are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
This role will contribute to both Willan internal applications
(including SaaS platforms) and client-facing enterprise systems.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software
Engineering, or related field
Mandatory Professional Experience
- Minimum 10 years of professional software development experience
- At least 5 years of experience deploying enterprise IT solutions,
including HR management systems or comparable enterprise platforms
- Proven experience as a developer performing custom adaptations and
enhancements of enterprise solutions across at least two similar
projects
Core Technical Expertise (Must-Have)
- ASP.NET Core (latest versions)
- C#
- SQL Server (advanced querying, optimization, indexing, performance
tuning)
- MVC architecture
- Entity Framework Core
- RESTful API design & microservices architecture
- CI/CD pipeline implementation (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or
equivalent)
- Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, Key Vault, Azure
AD, etc.)
- Orchard Core CMS development and customization
- Authentication & Authorization (OAuth2, OpenID Connect,
IdentityServer)
- Secure coding practices and application security standards
- Performance optimization and scalability engineering
Additional Technical Strengths (Highly Valued)
- Cloud-native architecture design
- DevSecOps mindset
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
- Front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or similar)
- SaaS multi-tenant architecture
- Experience working with government or regulated environments
- Automated testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, integration testing)
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop enterprise-grade ASP.NET Core
applications
- Lead modernization and enhancement of existing Willan platforms
- Deploy scalable, secure cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines ensuring reliable production
releases
- Customize Orchard Core implementations for enterprise clients
- Perform deep code reviews and enforce high engineering standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts
and client stakeholders
- Ensure solutions are aligned with long-term scalability and
maintainability
