Job Title: Senior CPU Validation Engineer / Lead – ARM Architecture

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced CPU Validation Engineer / Technical Lead with strong expertise in ARM architecture and processor validation. The ideal candidate will lead CPU validation activities, debug complex system issues, and develop validation frameworks for next-generation processors.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate ARM processor cores including Cortex-A / Cortex-R / Cortex-M / Neoverse architectures.
- Debug complex CPU/system issues involving interrupts, exceptions, faults, and coherency errors.
- Develop bare-metal test cases and automate validation procedures.
- Perform root cause analysis using waveforms, traces, and system debug tools.
- Work with JTAG, CoreSight, and trace infrastructure for system-level debugging.
- Create validation tests using Assembly and C programming.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, and firmware teams to resolve CPU/system issues.
- Maintain and manage validation code using Git and version control best practices.
- Support pre-silicon validation on emulation platforms or FPGA bring-up.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of ARM Architecture (AArch32 / AArch64)
- Expertise in CPU microarchitecture, caches, MMU, coherency models
- Experience validating ARM Cortex or Neoverse cores
- Strong debugging skills for interrupts, exceptions, and system faults
- Experience with JTAG, CoreSight, waveform and trace analysis
- Strong Assembly and C programming
- Experience writing bare-metal validation tests
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Emulation platforms (Palladium / Veloce)
- Experience with FPGA bring-up
- Strong scripting/automation for validation workflows
