Role Senior Architecture Leader – Enterprise & Cloud

About the Role
A fast-growing new-age bank on an ambitious digital transformation journey is looking for a senior technology leader to own and define its entire architecture landscape — cloud, applications, data, and integration.
This is a CIO-reporting role with real organisational influence. You'll be hands-on in solution design, drive cloud platform ownership, modernise legacy banking systems, and build the architecture practice ground-up.

What You'll Own
🏛️ Enterprise Architecture Define the target architecture across application, data, infrastructure, and integration. Lead the shift from legacy to cloud-native, microservices, and API-first models.
☁️ Cloud Platform Own the multi-cloud environment (AWS/GCP). Drive CI/CD automation, SRE operations, observability, and cost optimisation.
🔗 API Banking & Integration Architect the API Gateway and integration layer powering BaaS partnerships and internal platforms. Ensure uptime, security, and governance.
📊 Data & AI Architecture Shape the enterprise Data Lake, enable AI/ML adoption, and ensure data integrity for analytics and business decisions.
🛡️ Governance & Compliance Embed RBI-aligned compliance and data protection into every layer via TOGAF or equivalent frameworks — without slowing down delivery.
You Should Bring
- 14–18 years of IT experience with 5+ years in enterprise or solution architecture
- Proven track record in cloud architecture, API banking, and legacy modernisation within BFSI
- Hands-on experience with multi-cloud, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation
- Deep familiarity with banking systems: Finacle, LMS, Treasury, CRM, Digital Channels
- Exposure to BaaS, Open Banking, and fintech integrations
- Working knowledge of RBI IT guidelines and data protection norms
- Certifications: TOGAF (preferred) + AWS/GCP Architect (required)
- Bonus: Kubernetes, DevSecOps, or Security certifications
