Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and passionate Architects with a strong background in commercial and mixed-use developments. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who can lead architectural projects from concept to completion while ensuring high-quality design, technical excellence, and seamless coordination with clients, consultants, vendors, and project teams.
The Senior Architect will be responsible for design development, construction documentation, project coordination, and mentoring junior team members.
The Design Manager will lead multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams, oversee project delivery, drive client relationships, contribute to business development, and ensure successful execution of large-scale commercial and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities1. Design Development & Management
- Understand client requirements and prepare feasibility studies, concept designs, and design proposals.
- Develop innovative, functional, and sustainable architectural solutions.
- Lead projects from concept design through construction documentation and execution.
- Select materials and prepare presentation boards aligned with project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations.
2. Drawing Development & Management
- Prepare, review, and manage schematic, detailed working, and GFC drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting standards and project requirements.
- Maintain high-quality detailing throughout all stages of project documentation.
- Monitor drawing deliverables and ensure timely completion.
3. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop Architects, Senior Architects, and Drafting teams.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor project progress.
- Identify skill gaps and support team development through mentoring and training.
- Ensure project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
4. Client Relationship & Business Development
(Design Manager)- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure client satisfaction, project continuity, and repeat business.
- Identify new business opportunities and support business expansion.
- Participate in client presentations, proposal discussions, and strategic meetings.
5. Consultant & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with Structural, MEP, Landscape, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with vendors for material selection and technical solutions.
- Resolve design and coordination issues during execution.
6. Site & Project Coordination
- Work closely with Project Managers and PMC teams to ensure timely design deliverables.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve site-related issues.
- Ensure project execution aligns with approved design intent.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch. – 5-Year Course) – Mandatory.
Technical Skills
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Google SketchUp
- MS Office
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation and detailing
- Excellent design presentation and coordination skills
Experience RequirementsSenior Architect
- 8–16 years of experience in an Architectural Consultancy.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial and mixed-use developments.
- Experience leading project teams and coordinating with consultants.
- Successfully completed at least one commercial or mixed-use project of approximately 300,000 sq. ft. from concept to completion.
Design Manager
- 15–18 years of experience in an Architectural Consultancy.
- Minimum 10 years leading commercial or mixed-use projects.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams of Architects and Technicians.
- Successfully completed at least two full-cycle projects of 1 million sq. ft. or more.
- Proven experience in business development and client relationship management.
