Company Description
The Blank Slate is a globally recognized design studio specializing in bespoke architecture and interior design. The practice reinterprets traditional architecture within contemporary contexts, with a strong focus on India. Working with discerning, bespoke clientele, the studio delivers thoughtfully crafted spaces across luxury residential, private villas, and hospitality projects.
We are looking for someone who brings intent, responsibility, and a steady design approach to the process.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and uphold the studio’s design approach across luxury residential and hospitality projects
• Refer to relevant precedents and research to strengthen design thinking and detailing
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and vendors to ensure design intent is carried through all stages of execution
• Understand integration between architecture, interiors, and landscape as a unified whole
• Resolve design and technical challenges through clear, practical thinking
• Review drawings, specifications, and coordination outputs for quality and consistency
• Maintain documentation standards and contribute to project manuals and specifications where required
• Participate in design reviews by structuring and presenting information clearly
• Conduct site visits, document observations, and assist in resolving RFIs and site issues
• Support client presentations and communication of design intent
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• 3- 5 years of experience in luxury residential and/or hospitality projects
• Strong design and execution capabilities
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop (Revit is a plus)
• Good understanding of construction and detailing
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
