Role Description The Senior Architect role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Ahmedabad, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The person in this role will lead architectural design from concept to completion, including feasibility studies, detailed drawings, design documentation, and coordination with consultants and internal teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding project design direction, reviewing and refining design deliverables, ensuring adherence to codes and standards, and integrating interior, landscape, and urban design considerations as needed. The Senior Architect will oversee project timelines, manage stakeholder communication, and support BIM-driven workflows to maintain design quality and consistency. This role also involves mentoring junior team members, contributing to studio design reviews, and collaborating closely with project managers to achieve successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a portfolio demonstrating concept development, detailing, and built work.
- Experience with Software Development and Integration in the context of BIM tools, design applications, or workflow optimization.
- Proven Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes relevant to projects in India.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior designers, and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present and justify design decisions to clients and partners.
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) and relevant experience in a senior or lead design role.
