About Ingrain Architects

As we scale our practice, we are looking for a seasoned Senior Architect to join our remote team and lead transformative projects.
Role Overview
The Senior Architect will own the design and execution of large-scale commercial and high-rise projects from concept through delivery, while leading internal teams and maintaining strong client relationships — all in a fully remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of large-scale commercial and high-rise building projects.
• Develop architectural concepts, design documentation, and construction drawings in line with project briefs.
• Manage and mentor junior architects and designers, ensuring quality output across all project phases.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients — managing expectations, presenting design solutions, and addressing feedback professionally.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure integrated and buildable designs.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and statutory approvals.
• Conduct design reviews, quality audits, and progress assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project managers to maintain timelines, budgets, and deliverable schedules.
• Contribute to business development efforts including proposal writing and client pitches.
Requirements
• 10+ years of professional experience in architecture, with a strong portfolio in big commercial projects and high-rise buildings.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch); Council of Architecture (COA) registration mandatory.
• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and/or other relevant design software.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and multi-disciplinary project coordination.
• Strong client management and communication skills — ability to present and defend design ideas confidently.
• Solid understanding of Indian building bylaws, NBC standards, and green building certifications (LEED/IGBC preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
