Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Architect role based in Guwahati. The Senior Architect will lead architectural design from concept to completion, including planning, detailed drawings, and design documentation for a variety of projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients to understand requirements, guiding junior team members, and collaborating with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. The role involves overseeing project timelines, monitoring site execution, resolving design and technical issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards. The Senior Architect will also contribute to process improvement, design innovation, and the integration of appropriate software tools into the workflow.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with proven experience leading end-to-end design projects.
- Experience with Integration of design elements, building systems, and multidisciplinary inputs into cohesive project plans.
- Exposure to Software Development concepts or architectural software tools (e.g., CAD/BIM platforms) to support design and documentation.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and familiarity with building codes and local regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a collaborative working style.
- Previous experience in leading teams, mentoring junior architects, and managing client relationships.
