Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role located in Ahmedabad for a Senior Architect. The Senior Architect will lead architectural design development, project planning, coordination, and execution from concept to completion. The role involves managing design teams, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring project quality, timelines, and compliance with all applicable standards and regulations. The candidate will be responsible for transforming design vision into practical and buildable architectural solutions while maintaining design excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design process from concept development to final execution
- Prepare and review concept designs, schematic layouts, working drawings, and construction documentation
- Develop innovative design solutions, space planning, and façade concepts
- Supervise junior architects, draftsmen, and design team members
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and external consultants
- Attend client meetings, understand project requirements, and present design proposals
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure execution aligns with design intent
- Review material selections, finishes, and technical specifications
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building by-laws, regulations, and statutory norms
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team coordination
- Support project budgeting, BOQ review, and cost optimization discussions
- Resolve design and site-related technical issues during project execution
- Maintain quality control across all stages of design and execution
- Ensure timely submission of drawings, approvals, and project documentation
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
What we looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch) from a recognized institution
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in architectural and interior design projects
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Suite, and MS Office
- Excellent knowledge of construction detailing, materials, working drawings, and execution methodologies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent client communication and presentation abilities
- Strong technical problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience in handling residential, commercial, and hospitality projects preferred
- A strong professional portfolio showcasing completed projects
