Required Skills & Qualifications –
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 4 - 8 years of experience in architectural design and project execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, D5 Render, Enscape, Lumion, and other design visualization tools, M.S. Word suit, Adobe Suite.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
• Excellent design, technical detailing. Problem identification and observation.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and consultants.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Detail-orientation skills.
Job Description –
1. Design Development & Execution:
• Lead the design process from planning, concept development through completion, ensuring adherence to project objectives and design quality.
• Prepare and review designs, presentation, architectural drawings, plans, and technical details.
2. Project Coordination & Collaboration:
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal architectural team and external consultants (MEP, Structural etc.) to align on design intent and project goals. Coordinate for timely completion of planned activities.
• Observe and address technical issues and provide design solutions during the project lifecycle.
3. Technical Expertise & Quality Control:
• Preparing and reviewing detailed working drawings, plans, and technical details adhering to project standards and respective DCR.
• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress, oberseve/identify design related issues and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and consistency of design documentation.
4. Deliverable Planning & Execution:
• Plan and manage the timely delivery of design documentation, drawings, and presentation materials.
• Preparing and ensuring project phase and its completion in coordination and collaberation with project architect and external consultants.
• Flag any scheduling discrepancies to the Team Leader and assist in resolving them.
5. Team Support & Mentorship:
• Mentor and guide Junior Architects, providing technical support and design direction.
6. Client & Stakeholder Interaction:
• Support client presentations and participate in design discussions.
• Ensure client feedback is incorporated into design revisions.
