Application Support Engineer (AI & Copilot Platforms)Experience: 5–8+ Years
Shift: EST- USA Hours
Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad
Job SummaryWe are looking for an Application Support Engineer with experience supporting AI platforms, Microsoft Copilot solutions, and cloud-based enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting AI-powered applications and integrations operating in a production environment.
The role requires strong analytical and support skills with exposure to Generative AI technologies, Azure services, and enterprise support processes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide L2/L3 support for AI applications, Copilot solutions, and conversational AI platforms
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve production issues
- Support Azure OpenAI integrations and enterprise AI services
- Work closely with development and architecture teams for issue resolution and enhancements
- Handle deployments, configuration changes, and release support activities
- Support REST APIs, Microservices, and Azure-based integrations
- Analyze logs, system alerts, and application metrics for proactive issue management
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during EST business hours
Must Have Skills- Experience supporting Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio solutions
- Understanding of Azure OpenAI Services and Generative AI applications
- Experience in application support, incident management, and troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and AI workflows
- Knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, and Azure Cloud services
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python and/or C#
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, logging, and support processes
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Good to Have Skills- Exposure to LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or MCP
- Knowledge of Vector Databases and Semantic Search
- Experience with Power Platform and Power Automate
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in ITIL-based support environments
- Microsoft Azure certifications
- Exposure to AI governance and enterprise AI operations
