About the Role
Office Beacon is seeking a Senior Application Developer with strong hands-on experience in TypeScript, React or Vue, REST APIs, and system integrations.
This is a senior-level individual contributor role, not a junior or trainee position. The successful candidate must be comfortable taking ownership of technical work, making implementation decisions, troubleshooting issues, and delivering solutions with minimal day-to-day oversight.
A strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem is also required, particularly Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Azure, along with familiarity with integrating or working with Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
The role focuses on building and maintaining modern business applications, APIs, integrations, automation, and data solutions that connect internal and external business systems.
What You Must Bring
The following are core requirements for this position:
- Senior-level software/application development experience with the ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
- Strong professional experience with TypeScript.
- Strong hands-on experience with React or Vue.
- Professional experience developing, consuming, and troubleshooting REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience building or supporting API-based system integrations.
- Practical experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and/or Outlook integrations, APIs, or automation workflows.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across applications and integrations.
- Experience with source control such as Git.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, access controls, and secure application development.
- Ability to translate business requirements into working technical solutions.
- Strong technical communication and documentation skills.
What You Will DoApplication Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain business applications using TypeScript and React or Vue.
- Build reusable, maintainable application components.
- Translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot application issues and implement sustainable fixes.
- Take ownership of assigned technical solutions from development through production support.
API Development & Integration
- Develop and consume REST APIs.
- Build integrations between internal applications, Microsoft services, and third-party business systems.
- Implement data exchange, transformation, validation, and synchronization processes.
- Troubleshoot API failures, authentication issues, data inconsistencies, and integration problems.
- Work with appropriate API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Microsoft Ecosystem
- Build or support applications that interact with Microsoft Azure services.
- Work with Microsoft Entra ID for identity, authentication, authorization, and application access.
- Support integrations and automation involving Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
- Work with Microsoft APIs and services where required by business applications.
- Follow Microsoft security and access-control practices.
Business Systems & Automation
- Develop integrations with business platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SharePoint, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and other enterprise applications.
- Support workflow automation and system-to-system data movement.
- Improve reliability and efficiency of existing business applications and integrations.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive business processes.
Quality & Production Support
- Write and execute appropriate tests for applications and integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and release validation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes.
- Follow Git/source-control and development standards.
- Maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
- Follow established security, change-management, and production-readiness practices.
Required Qualifications
Non-Negotiable Technical RequirementsCandidates must have all of the following:
1. Senior Development Experience
- Proven professional experience working as a Senior Software Developer, Senior Application Developer, Senior Full Stack Developer, or equivalent senior engineering role.
- Demonstrated ability to independently own technical deliverables with minimal supervision.
2. TypeScript + Modern Frontend
- Strong hands-on TypeScript experience.
- Strong hands-on professional experience with React or Vue.
- Experience building production web applications using modern frontend development practices.
3. APIs & Integrations
- Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs.
- Experience developing or supporting system-to-system integrations.
- Experience working with API authentication, authorization, request/response handling, error handling, and data transformation.
4. Microsoft Ecosystem
- Professional experience working with Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and application identity/access management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and/or Outlook, including APIs, integrations, or automation workflows.
5. Engineering Practices
- Git or equivalent source control.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting.
- Software testing.
- Secure software development.
- Authentication and authorization.
- Technical documentation.

4. Work Arrangement & Compensation
Employment: Full-time

Salary: ₹1,65,000–₹1,85,000 per month
