Role Description The Senior API Developer – Apigee & Integration Developer (Kafka) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining APIs using Apigee, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance integrations across enterprise systems. The developer will build and manage Kafka-based integration pipelines, implement event-driven architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical services. Daily responsibilities include analyzing integration requirements, implementing best practices for API governance and monitoring, troubleshooting issues in production environments, and optimizing performance. The role also includes creating technical documentation, supporting code reviews, and mentoring team members on integration standards and tools.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in designing and implementing robust, scalable solutions.
- Candidates should possess hands-on skills in Integration and Web Services, including RESTful and SOAP-based service design and consumption.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or similar integration platforms, including API management and orchestration.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Apigee for API gateway, security, and lifecycle management, and Kafka for event streaming and messaging.
- Relevant experience with microservices architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment are essential.
