Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Antenna Engineer to join our engineering team and lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced antenna systems for satellite, space, wireless, and RF communication applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in antenna design, electromagnetic simulation, RF testing, and system integration, with the ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and optimize antennas for satellite, space, wireless, and RF communication systems.
- Perform electromagnetic simulations using industry-standard tools such as HFSS, CST Studio Suite, or FEKO.
- Conduct antenna testing, characterization, and validation, including anechoic chamber measurements.
- Analyze antenna performance, identify design issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with RF, hardware, mechanical, and system engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and product development.
- Support prototype development, design reviews, and product qualification activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, design reports, and engineering specifications.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in antenna design and RF engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electromagnetics, antenna theory, and microwave engineering.
- Hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, or FEKO.
- Experience with RF test equipment, including Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Spectrum Analyzers, and antenna measurement systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in satellite communications, 5G, or advanced wireless communication systems.
- Knowledge of phased array antennas, MIMO systems, and beamforming technologies.
- End-to-end experience in antenna design, development, integration, qualification, and testing for space systems.
- Experience with environmental qualification testing for space hardware, including vibration, thermal vacuum (TVAC), and EMI/EMC testing.
- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineering teams.
- Familiarity with high-frequency PCB design and RF system integration is an added advantage.
