Position: Senior Analytics Developer (Power BI)

Location: Mumbai

Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Power BI Solution Development – Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade dashboards using
• advanced DAX, Power Query, and optimised semantic models.
• Data Modelling & Architecture – Build robust fact dimension models, star/snowflake schemas, and
• scalable BI architectures, ensuring performance and reusability.
• BI Governance, Version Control & CI/CD – Manage versioning of PBIX files using Git/GitLab/Azure
• DevOps and support BI release management, branching, and deployment workflows.
• Incident, Problem & Performance Management – Handle BI incidents using ITIL principles,
• troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure reliable refreshes, gateways, and BI service operations.
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration – Work with business teams to gather requirements,
• provide insights, deliver training, and ensure BI solutions meet user expectations and business outcomes.

Work and Technical Experience:

Must Have:

• Advanced Power BI expertise (DAX, Power Query M, dashboards, dataflows, Power BI Service)
• Strong Data Modeling (star, snowflake, fact-dimension structures)
• SQL proficiency for data extraction and transformation
• Version Control expertise (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps)
• Technical knowledge of data systems (SQL Server, Snowflake, Synapse, APIs)
• Incident & Problem Management (ITIL-based handling, RCA, performance troubleshooting)
• Analytical & Problem-Solving skills for complex BI and data challenges

Good to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Exposure to Python or R for analytics
• Knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, or orchestration tools
• Understanding of UX principles for dashboard design
• Experience working with large datasets and complex enterprise architectures

Qualifications:

• 8–10 years of total experience in BI development, with deep handson Power BI expertise.
• Experience working in large-scale BI environments with enterprise data platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or an equivalent field.
• Microsoft PL300 / Power BI Certification preferred.
