Space Matrix Design Consultants is looking for a dedicated Sustainability professional to join us as a Senior Sustainability Analyst within our Sustainable Solutions team. In this role, you will focus on integrating vital sustainability principles throughout all project stages for corporate interiors and commercial or institutional campus developments. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and project management teams across various Space Matrix offices to propose and implement essential sustainable solutions.
In Brief
- Develop and implement strategies, standards, and requirements for various green building rating frameworks.
- Conduct detailed feasibility studies to guide clients in establishing ambitious and achievable certification goals.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and project management consultants to ensure all necessary data is available to meet performance targets.
- Manage the collection and verification of green compliance data from all project consultants.
- Integrate architectural and technical design analysis expertise to optimize project sustainability outcomes.
- Achieving team and organization wide sustainability goals
- Good understanding of buildings mechanical systems, passive strategies and construction technologies (advanced filtration systems, innovative materials etc.)
- Good knowledge of simulations with respect to daylight and energy to support sustainable design and green building rating compliance
- Lead project teams toward meeting sustainability milestones within established timelines.
- Author comprehensive technical reports required for formal green building certification submissions.
- Experience of conducting Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), understanding of LEED commissioning and energy/ sustainability audits are preferred.
What We Expect
- You are an eminent professional and passionate towards the domain of sustainability in the built environment
- You are keen to continuously imbibe trending and futuristic sustainability related concepts also extending them to areas of work
- You have a degree in Architecture / Engineering and experience in green building industry for at least 4 years will be preferred
- A masters degree / course in Sustainability focussed domain shall be preferred
- Accreditations like LEED AP, WELL AP, IGBC AP etc. in good standing shall be preferred
- Fair understanding of analysis softwares like Ecotect, E quest, Lightstanza, Revit at a minimum
- You have excellent communication skills and ability to build trust and collaborative relationships ( both internally and externally )
- You have high regard and ability towards finding sustainability related design / construction solutions
- You are familiar with LEED and IGBC rating frameworks at a minimum Core and Shell, New Construction and Commercial Interiors
- You are familiar with wellness concepts related to built environment and familiarity with standards like WELL and FITWEL
