About The Team

The Finance Systems team is a dedicated community of Techno-Functional professionals who partner and coordinate with the business and technology to manage, optimize and implement a controlled operation of business that allow the company to scale efficiently. Team support multiple projects across enterprise starting from development till implementation and seamlessly bridge the gap between technical and finance teams with enhanced service delivery and robust support with standards of control, efficiency and reliability

Impact

The Senior Systems Analyst with knowledge of EPM / EDMCS is critical as it acts as the steward of master data integrity, ensuring that financial and operational hierarchies are accurate, consistent, and synchronized across all corporate systems leading to consistent financial reporting's.

Key Deliverables

The Senior Systems Analyst with knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Systems, who will be responsible for administering, implementing, and optimizing our existing Oracle EPM solutions to support financial planning, consolidation, CoA Maintenance and reporting processes. Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, FP&A and IT teams to enhance system functionality and ensure alignment with business objectives.

In this role, the Senior Analyst is responsible for the following:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and administration of Oracle EPM Cloud applications (Planning, PCMS, Narrative Reporting and EDMCS).
  • Administer Oracle EDM for Chartfield creation and maintenance, security, patch testing (imports/exports), rules.
  • Validate metadata properties and appropriate application-specific characteristics across Oracle EDM / EPM landscape for weekly / Monthly changes.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Support system enhancements, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Partner with finance and accounting teams to streamline budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Manage and support monthly integrations between Oracle EPM and other enterprise applications. (EDM to Hyperion, EDM to PSGL) and daily among EDM / EPM applications.
  • Manage integration of metadata across test and production environments and follow change management protocol.
  • Provide user training and documentation to ensure adoption and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations.
  • Work with Oracle Support to resolve application issues.
  • Understand the dependencies and relationships between different components of the Oracle EPM Cloud system.
  • Stay up to date with latest functionality releases and provide recommendations for improvements to existing processes.
  • Provide support to business users in a timely manner.
  • Support On-Premises Hyperion Essbase applications when needed.
  • Participate various ad-hoc analysis and reporting efforts for the stake holders.
  • Ability to build credibility with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure & flexibility to meet demanding deadlines essential.
  • Recommend and/ or implement actions required to improve processes.
  • Proactively escalate issues to supervisor that require attention.
  • Respond in a timely manner to all requests.

Skills And Qualification

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 6+ years of experience working with enterprise scale EPM / EDM / PeopleSoft Financial systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Strong expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud modules (Planning, PCMS, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, Freeform, etc.).
  • Extensive prior work experience with systems and application management
  • Experience working in Finance technology domain within Banking or Financial Services industry
  • Proficient with desktop tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and technical communication platforms and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure, SharePoint.
  • Experience with systems data analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to well
  • Proven ability to co-ordinate on agreed requirements within a team environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to streamline complex requirements to simplify Business Processes
  • Knowledge in application / system such as Hyperion, CBS, Coupa, FlexCube, BOXI will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation for process improvements
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, banking knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders in Finance and IT.
