Job Description
Job Title: Senior Analyst Cyber Security Operations
Location: Bangalore (Onsite)
Reporting to: Senior Manager
PURPOSE OF ROLE
To protect industrial and critical infrastructure environments by strengthening OT cybersecurity posture, reducing cyber risk, and ensuring operational continuity through effective monitoring, control implementation, and incident response.
Key Tasks And Accountabilities
- Implement and support OT cybersecurity controls across industrial environments
- Investigate events to determine if they are true events or false positive
- Monitor threats and new attack techniques being disclosed in the wild
- Monitor OT networks for security threats and anomalies
- Perform vulnerability assessments on OT assets and coordinate remediation
- Support deployment and management of OT security tools (EDR for OT, firewalls)
- Assist in incident response investigations related to OT environments
- Work with IT, engineering, and plant teams to ensure secure architecture
- Maintain asset inventory and visibility of OT devices
- Create Incident response SOP’s and run books as in when needed.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with plant and IT teams
- Flexible to work in between 6 am – 2 am IST
Qualifications, Experience, Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree preferably in Computer science or Information Systems and /or equivalent formal training or work experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in areas of SOC Operations.
Technical/Functional Skills:
Mandatory Skills:
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals - Beginner
- Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, network segmentation - Beginner
- Basic understanding of Windows/Linux systems - Beginner
- Experience with vulnerability management and security monitoring - Beginner
- Experience with Antivirus/EDR management - Intermediate
- Experience in incident response investigations - Intermediate
Preferred (Good to have) Skills:
- Exposure to manufacturing or critical infrastructure environments - Beginner
- Experience with OT security tools (e.g., Claroty, Nozomi, TxOne, Dragos, etc.) - Beginner
- Understanding of Purdue Model Architecture - Beginner
- Certifications such as: GICSP, CEH
