Role Description The Senior Analyst will contribute to research and quantitative analysis that inform clients’ strategic decisions in the Indian energy markets. In this full-time hybrid role based in Gurugram, the Senior Analyst will build and maintain analytical models, interpret market and policy developments, and prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and validating data, performing scenario analysis, and translating complex findings into accessible narratives for clients and internal stakeholders. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting client meetings and workshops, and contributing to thought leadership pieces on key energy transition topics. Some work from home is acceptable, subject to team needs and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with data analysis, modeling, and interpreting complex datasets.
- Proficiency in relevant tools (e.g., Excel, statistical or programming languages such as Python, R, or similar) for energy market or economic analysis.
- Knowledge of energy markets, policy, or economics, preferably with exposure to APAC power, renewables, or decarbonization topics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently and in teams, and deliver high-quality work to deadlines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, or related disciplines.
- Experience in consulting, research, or energy-sector roles is an advantage; familiarity with client-facing work is beneficial.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Gurugram, collaborating across cultures and time zones.
