About The Role
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide application and data-related support for business operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL and Microsoft Excel, along with experience in handling data validation, data manipulation, troubleshooting, and customer support activities.
The role requires excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced support environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and application support related to data loads and customer issues
- Perform data validation, data scrubbing, and data manipulation activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported issues within defined timelines
- Work with SQL queries for data analysis and issue resolution
- Maintain and update incident records and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams for issue escalation and resolution
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely communication and support
- Monitor support tickets and maintain SLA compliance
- Prepare reports and analyze data using Microsoft Excel
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in technical support/customer support environments
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Familiarity with CRM or ticketing tools is an added advantage
- Knowledge of cloud-based applications/technologies is preferred
Eligibility Criteria
- BE / MCA / Equivalent qualification
- 2–5 years of experience in Technical Support or Application Support roles
- Work From Office role based in Mangalore
- Willingness to work in night shifts as per business requirements
